We recommend studying for at least 45 days prior to the exam.
The exam is written based on two documents- the 2023 Plant Technical Reference Manual (PTRM) and the Code of Practice (Model Code). Both of these can be found on our website or by emailing Al Lear or Chance Gatoro at [email protected] or [email protected].
The exam is challenging, so we recommend you come prepared! You will need, a working microphone and webcam, stable internet, and a quiet place to take the test. The exam can be taken in three 1 hour modules or one 3 hour exam. You are encouraged to bring a non-phone calculator. You may also bring blank scratch paper to work on, and a writing utensil. Please have a photo ID available to confirm identification.
